Job Brief

We are looking for a smart, pro-active and competent Research Assistant to work on a variety of projects as a member of a multi-disciplinary research team addressing complex policy problems. S/he must demonstrate p initiative and self-motivation required within a dynamic integrated project.

Responsibility

Data collection, preparation and analysis.
Support to modeling and simulation. Computer programming.
Review literatures and prepare draft documents.
Present and coordinate work among project team members.
Conduct and analyze field and internet research.
Take responsibility for content generation and digital marketing campaigns. Manage research as required by the management.
Coordinate events, manage programmes and logistics, and attend relevant events.
Provide creative support to the Company in brand positioning for online growth and success.
Use digital analytics tools to provide digital data in the form of monthly reports to Management.
Other related tasks as assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

Documentation, report writing and publishing ability.
Knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel; SPSS and other statistical softwares.
Willingness to take initiative, multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to assess priorities.
Excellent organizational, communication, writing and presentation skills with attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work and manage various projects with limited supervision.
Ability to work well with people at all levels, individuals from a diverse array of backgrounds and people of different cultures.
Ability and willingness to travel to project’s zones at short notice or when required.
Fluency in English (spoken, read and written), Efik and Pidgin desirable.
