Brinefort staff work in a number of areas related to our mandate. You can find a brief description of the type of work below
in this section. These functional areas in which we operate have been categorized in four broad areas: programmes – our
work for the women and children, operations – support to our programmes, external relations – communication and advocacy,
and emergency response.
The Brinefort Internship Programme offers eligible students the opportunity to acquire direct practical experience in Brinefort's
works. Brinefort is active in various functional areas related to its mandate, which can be categorized in three main
pillars: Programme and Policy, External Relations and Operations.
Qualified female applicants and qualified applicants of under-represented areas of interest are encouraged to apply.
Candidates are requested to attach to their application a letter of motivation, copy of their academic qualifications,
curriculum vitae, birth certificate and other supporting documents (optional).
All applications must be submitted to apply@brinefortfoundation.org, using 'vacancy
', 'Internship' or 'Volunteer' as the subject of the mail, depending on the type of opportunity.
Upon closing of the application deadline, all profiles and applications will be reviewed by the hiring office to ascertain
the candidates' eligibility and suitability for the position, following the minimum requirements stipulated in the vacancy
announcement. If necessary, the hiring office may consider additional criteria in order to further reduce the number
of candidates in the shortlist. Based on this analysis, the hiring office shall retain a few candidates and use a number
of assessment tools, including written examinations (competency-based) and interviews to arrive at a recommendation.
After review of the recommendation to ensure fairness and transparency, only qualified applicants will be directly contacted
for job placement by the hiring office.
Brinefort does not provide any remuneration to volunteers.
Internship tenures span from 9months to 2years. Applicants are advised to indicate their tenure of interest during application
process.
Only more experienced and value-added Interns will be considered for placement in the organisation after successful completion
of their tenure as interns.
Please note that Brinefort does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process (application, interview, meeting,
traveling, processing, training or any other fees).
Beware if an offer of employment looks too good to be true. Never divulge personal and banking information or send money
if you are unsure of the authenticity of an email or other communication in the name of Brinefort. If you are in doubt,
please contact us at apply@brinefortfoundation.org with the subject as 'enquiry'
for confirmation.
